| Currently in production is a new children's television program, "Penelope K, by the way". Directed by Peter Cudlipp
and produced by Michael Bourchier for Blink Films the
program is the first to be produced under the CBeebies Production
Initiative. CBeebies is a television channel created by the BBC aimed
at children 6 years and under. Penelope K, played by Amanda Bishop,
spends each twelve minute episode seeking the answer to a question
posed by a child visiting her "information station". Zig Zag Lane
is providing music composition and production, and audio
post-production for the series of 25 episodes.
| | Things got very metal
at Zig Zag recently, when members of Finnish rock band H.I.M. visited
the studios for an ISDN link up with Los Angeles-based Rockline Radio.
Talking with presenter Bob Coburn and callers, the musicians were live
via satellite across the United States for an hour and a half. Pictured
here are, left to right, bassist Migé, Zig Zag's Declan McCarthy, and
singer Ville Valo. The band had played the Soundwave Festival as well
as other dates across the country. |
